OCT
Kersley Eye Clinic OCT

The latest Zeiss’ Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging test. It uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina. With OCT, we can see each of the retina’s distinctive layers. These images help with the diagnosis and also provide treatment guidance for glaucoma and diseases of the retina. These retinal diseases include age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye disease.

The visual field is the entire area that can be seen when the eye is directed forward, including that which is seen with peripheral vision. The visual field can be tested to measure the extent and sensitivity of the field of vision and it is essential in helping us in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and other diseases.
